Rev. Carmen & Colleen Crockett
In response to the call of God on his life to full-time ministry, Pastor Crockett attended Zion Bible Institute located in East Providence, Rode Island where he received a three year diploma in pastoral ministries in 1981.
In 1986 Pastor Carmen married the love of his life Colleen and they now have three wonderful daughters and three great son in-laws. All of them are pursuing God’s calling on their lives.
With over 25 years of fulltime ministry experience, Carmen and Colleen moved to Cole Harbour to become the pastor of Evangel in 2010. He has a deep passion for people and a strong desire to lead the church into being both structured with excellence and open to the voice of the Holy Spirit.
Associate Pastor
Rev. Corey Copeland
Corey and Katherine have served in ministry in the Maritimes, in Ontario and on short terms missions trips to the Caribbean. His desire is for people to know the God who loves them, to hear his voice, to be equipped and to live out their destiny in Christ. Corey also serves as the Prayer Coordinator for the Maritime District of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada. When he is not serving, you are likely to find Corey by the water, watching a hockey game or enjoying some time with family and friends.

Pastor Jacqui Smith
Jacqui is a passionate next generation pastor. She has served in a variety on ministry positions in both Nova Scotia and Ontario.
Pastor Courtney McNeil (Maternity Leave)
Courtney has followed the call home to serve on staff at Evangel. Courtney and her husband JJ bring passion, talent and hearts that chase after God. Together they lead and encourage our community to grow in their spiritual journey of faith.
Worship Director
Candice Benson
Candice has a passion for worship, a love for God and for her family. She is also a gifted photographer. Candice and Richard have led and served in worship throughout the HRM and surrounding areas for several years.
Office Administrator
Cathy Wiedemann
Cathy has been attending Evangel since the age of 18 when she first accepted Christ as her Saviour. Over the years she has formed many precious friendships with the people of Evangel. In 2007 she became the office administrator. When she is not at work keeping the pastoral staff in line, you can find her hanging out with family, taking walks, or taking pictures and scrapbooking.
